75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - April 26, 1937

 75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - April 26, 1937

This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.

Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.

Here is the short entry for Monday, April 26:

Cold. CCB gone. Edith & Erna rode home with us. Eating soda crax. Ate, did dishes, listened to radio, cleaned up, & went to bed early.

Here is the long entry for Monday, April 26:

Still kinda cold but not so windy. Mr. Browning not here all day. Had letter from Bud. All 3 of us home to dinner. Read Radio Guide & worked cross word puzzle. Edith & Erna rode home with us. Eating soda crax. Ate, did dishes, listened to the radio, cleaned up & went to bed early.

My comments: Why would she mention "Eating soda crax" ??  ;-)

Cross word puzzle:

Families are Forever!  ;-)

  1. Assume she was referring to soda crackers?? Is kind of strange?
