75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - April 15, 1937

 75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - April 15, 1937

This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.

Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.

Here is the short entry for Thursday, April 15:

Colder. Mr. B. gone. Bussy to the dentist. Edith & I took the car home. In after Dad. Supper, dishes, washed some things, went to bed on cot & slept there all nite.

Here is the long entry for Thursday, April 15:

Colder & no sign of the sun. Finished Fiduciary report & wrote to Bud. Feel just keen. Not a bit tired. 3 of us home to dinner. Mr. Browning gone in pm. so I read all afternoon. Bussy to the dentist; he & Edith & I took the car home. Back in after Dad at 6:00. Supper, dishes, washed some things, went to bed on the cot with Bussy. Slept there all nite. Kinda walked in my sleep - got a sack of raisins.

My comments: I could not resist the raisins… yum!  ;-)
