75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - April 11, 1937

 75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - April 11, 1937

This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.

Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.

Here is the short entry for Sunday, April 11:

Mom better. Lil's & Del here. Washed & set my hair. Washed dishes & took a bath. Pete here at 8:00. "The Plainsmen." He was sick all week. Swollen gland in neck. Rather handicapped. Almost went rite home.

Here is the long entry for Sunday, April 11:

Up about 8:00. Mom better, Cleaned down stairs, got ready for Lil's & Del. They were there for dinner. Washed & set my hair. In to town after Dad. Washed dishes & took a bath. Pete came about 8:00. Went to "The Plainsmen." He was sick all week. Swollen gland in neck. Rather handicapped. Almost went rite home.

My comments: "Rather handicapped." 'bough said! Followed by ALMOST went rite home! ;-)

The Plainsman (1936) starred Gary Cooper and Jean Arthur, Cecil B. DeMille directing.

Families are Forever!  ;-)
