75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - April 17, 1937

 75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - April 17, 1937

This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.

Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.

Here is the short entry for Saturday, April 17:

Cloudy. To library. Took Harold Jns. home. [later added: Johnson ?] Did up all the nite wk. & then went to sleep of studio couch. Men hunting the cows. Separated about 10:30.

Here is the long entry for Saturday, April 17:

Not so cold but cloudy. Answered letters all morning. Saw Prissy, Jean, Edith etc. Dad & I home to dinner. Down to library & Prissy here in pm. Watched them bowl awhile. Took Harold Jno. home about 2:00. Did up the nite work & then I went to sleep on the studio couch. Men had an awful time finding the cows. They didn't get thru' separating 'till 10:30.

My comments: Chasing cows in not fun… wonder where they were? Across the river?
