75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - April 7, 1937
This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.
Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.

Here is the short entry for Wednesday, April 7:
Rainy & damp. Studied Correspondence. Typed insurance policies. Tried on suit at Josie's. Leo came after us. Dad at Carroll to Bkrs. meeting. Listened to radio & went to bed early.
Here is the long entry for Wednesday, April 7:
Rainy & damp but not really cold. Started fire. Wrote letters & studied Business Correspondence. Dad & I home to dinner. Wrote office letters & typed insurance policies in pm. Tried on suit at Josie's at 4:00. Leo came in after us. Dad went to Carroll to Bkrs. meeting. Listened to radio & went to bed early.
My comments: How do I find a visual image for Business Correspondence, Typed Insurance Policies, and Bankers Meeting???? ;-)
OK, "Rainy Days and Mondays" by the Carpenters, the 1971 song… reaching, I admit! ;-)
Families are Forever! ;-)
