75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - April 25, 1937

 75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - April 25, 1937

This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.

Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.

Here is the short entry for Sunday, April 25:

13 hrs. sleep. Not bad. Cold & snow all day. Served all pm. Listened to radio. Pete came before 8:00. "The Great O'Malley." Really good. Home early.

Here is the long entry for Sunday, April 25:

Up at 9:30. 13 hrs. sleep. Not bad. What an extreme from last Sunday. Cold & snow all day. Noodles & chicken. Served all pm. Good programs. Eddie Cantor & Frank Parker. Didn't get Sunday paper till 6:30. Pete came before 8:00. Went to "The Great O'Malley." Pat O'Brien & Sybil Jason. Really good. Home early.

My comments: Snow on April 25. I remember the year it snowed on May 25.

The Great O'Malley was a 1937 crime film starring Pat O'Brien, Sybil Jason, Humphrey Bogart and Ann Sheridan.
