75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - June 6, 1937

 75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - June 6, 1937

This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.

Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.

Here is the short entry for Sunday, June 6:

Cleaned the house. Folks to Louises. Leo & I home. Helen came. Got Lund girls & went to Baseball game. Went riding down south of Bayard. To Lil's. A. Betts road.

Here is the long entry for Sunday, June 6:

Up at 7:00. Got breakfast, did dishes, cleaned front room. Folks to Louise's. Leo & I stayed home. Helen B. came. Went to Lunds, got Edith & Erna, & went to last of the ball game. Went home & took a bath. Pete came at 7:30. Went riding down south of Bayard. Car stopped once right in middle of the road. To LIl's. Leo & Ida there, too. Home to Coon. A. Betts road. [half dozen shorthand strokes] Thank good ness.

My comments: A busy day...  ;-) Nice ending...  ;-)

Families are Forever!  ;-)
