75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - June 15, 1937

 75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - June 15, 1937

This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.

Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.

Here is the short entry for Tuesday, June 15:

Worked all day. To town in morning for groceries. Went to Band Concert. With Helen. Had an awful time getting the ice cream we wanted.

Here is the long entry for Tuesday, June 15:

Up at 6:00. Had bacon & eggs. Did dishes, separator, & scrubbed porches & separator house. Washed kitchen wood work in pm. To town with cream & got groceries & the paper. Got supper, did dishes & we went in to band concert. I with Helen. Tried 3 times to get the ice cream we wanted. Rode in H. Johnson's new car. Home at 11:00.

My comments: Assume Leo is at home. Don't know yet if Bussy went to with folks with or stayed home. She still isn't working at office, it seems.

Bacon & eggs. Oh, wow... my saliva is running. Yum! Yum!  ;-)
