75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - June 24, 1937

 75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - June 24, 1937

This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.

Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.

Here is the short entry for Thursday, June 24:

Hot again. Took 4 showers. Harmon Day wants me to work for him. Swan 'till 9:30. Slept downstairs.

Here is the long entry for Thursday, June 24:

Hottest day yet. I took 4 showers during the day. Did up work as early as possible in pm. Did nite work. Harmon Day here. Wants me to work tomorrow. Leo & Bussy & I down swimming till 9:30. Really seemed good. Slept downstairs.

My comments:
The Raccoon River ran through the back corner of their pasture. Sounds like a good way to spend the evening!  ;-)
