75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - August 23, 1937
This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.
Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.
[August 1, 1937, at Ledges]
To town in pm. To bed early.
Here is the long entry for Monday, August 23:
Wonder where Pete is , what he's doing & if he's thought of me as I have of him. Up at 8:30 for a change. Just did the usual work. Leo & I to town after dinner. I went down to Mrs. Shavers. Saw Helen B. & Edith. Out to Lund's waiting for Dad. Wonder if Helen't balloon is still up. Home at 6:00. Ate & listened to radio & rode bike. Bussy in bed. To bed early.
Can't help wondering how Pete is. I hope & pray that they stay clear of any accidents!
Goodnite Pete!
My comments: Balloons left over from Spring Lake picnic, I'd guess! ;-)
Really concerned about Pete! ;-)
Families are Forever! ;-)
That is cool to see her concern and wonder if Pete is thinking of her?? aawwww...Love ;-)
