75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - August 10, 1937

 75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - August 10, 1937

This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.

Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.

 [August 1, 1937, at Ledges]

Here is the short entry for Tuesday, August 10:

Warm. At work alone now. Really rushed. To Bk. Nite. "Holy Terror."

Here is the long entry for Tuesday, August 10:

Really about the warmest day we've had yet. I'm there all alone. Got along just fine. Last day to collect bills. Really were rushed. Everything happening in one day, as usual. Home at 6:00. I did dishes, took a shower. Leo & Buss & I to Bank Nite. Jane Withers in the "Holy Terror." A grand show with Tony Martin & Leah Ray.

My comments: The Holy Terror was a 1937 American film and a vehicle for child star Jane Withers; the film follows the comic adventures of 11-year-old Withers.
