75 Years Ago Today
Eileen's Diary
April 24, 1939
This entry is a post from the diary of my mother, twenty year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date. She kept a diary from 1932 as a freshman in high school until she left us, too early, in 1999.
Here is the daily entry for Monday, April 24:
Nice & warm but windy. Pete finished the garden fence before dinner. Ate, did dishes & we went in to town after pig pans. Pete plowed the rest of the afternoon. I embroidered and looked at magazines. At nite, ate supper, took baths & went to bed.
My comments:
Do you suppose his fence looked anything like this??
