75 Years Ago Today
Eileen's Diary
April 19, 1939
This entry is a post from the diary of my mother, twenty year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date. She kept a diary from 1932 as a freshman in high school until she left us, too early, in 1999.
Here is the daily entry for Wednesday, April 19:
Finally a nice day. Did up usual work. Pete fixing fence & hog pens. In pm. I went down to Lillians & she helped me fix my smock & slip. Home at 6:00. Spilt acid on my stockings. Were going to the show but it got too late, so we did up the work & went to bed.
My comments:
A sow in pen with pigs...
Families are Forever! ;-)
