75 Years Ago Today
Eileen's Diary
April 4, 1939
This entry is a post from the diary of my mother, twenty year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date. She kept a diary from 1932 as a freshman in high school until she left us, too early, in 1999.
Here is the daily entry for Tuesday, Apr 4:
Bussy here. Pete up home in the morning. Did up usual work. Made chocolate cookies. Polly & Betty came down & I took them in to town. Betty got a permanent. Polly & I up home. They got their chicks. Did chores. Bussy slept while we ate. Took baths & went to bed early.
My comment:
Chocolate cookies… for Buzzy?
Families are Forever! ;-)
Do you actually have a relative named Bussy or Buzzy? Maybe she meant busy and just put an extra "s" in??
