75 Years Ago Today
Eileen's Diary
April 16, 1939
This entry is a post from the diary of my mother, twenty year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date. She kept a diary from 1932 as a freshman in high school until she left us, too early, in 1999.
Here is the daily entry for Sunday, April 16:
Pete up at 6:30. Did separator, tended chicks & got ready for S.S. & church. 16 in our class. Folks out to dinner. Had chicken & noodles. Made partition for the chickens. Scrubbed kitchen floor. Made pineapple upside down cake while Pete milked. Ate, did dishes. Folks left at 9:00. Looked for chicks. To bed at 10:00.
My comments:
Chicks getting lots of attention.
My focus was on the chicken and noodles - and lots more to come! ;-)
Families are Forever! ;-)
