75 Years Ago Today
Eileen's Diary
May 17, 1939
This entry is a post from the diary of my mother, twenty year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date. She kept a diary from 1932 as a freshman in high school until she left us, too early, in 1999.
Here is the daily entry for Wednesday, May 17:
Real warm again. Did usual morning work. Liver for dinner. Pete finished plowing on 80. Did dishes, washed my hair, cleaned shoes, read. Pete home at 6:30. Chored. Made oatmeal cookies. Folks here after milk. Ate supper, bathed, went to bed.
My comments:
Oatmeal cookies are winners, any time! ;-)
Families are Forever! ;-)
