75 Years Ago Today
Eileen's Diary
Mar 20, 1939
This entry is a post from the diary of my mother, twenty year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date. She kept a diary from 1932 as a freshman in high school until she left us, too early, in 1999.
Here is the daily entry for Monday, Mar 20:
Pete up at 6:00. Hurried around and I took car in to wash. Pete hauling up wood. Bussy in bed with the flu. Got ironing done, too. Home at 4:00. Down with Pete to get a load of wood. Made cornbread. Ate, did dishes while Pete chores. To bed early.
My comment:
More wood, that is good!
Warm cornbread… YUM! ;-)
Families are Forever! ;-)
