This entry is a post from the diary of my mother, twenty year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date. She kept a diary from 1932 as a freshman in high school until she left us, too early, in 1999.
Here is the daily entry for Sunday, July 9:
Birthday note: Margaret Neilsen [Nelson, actually, I think?! - a Kinnick first cousin]
Awake before 5:30. Fed the baby. Two new baby boys form this morning. Ate, read awhile, fed baby again and then got up and sat in a chair awhile. Clayburg's came & stayed till closing. In bed awhile & then got up to eat supper. Folks & PEte came about 7:00. Stayed till 8:30. Really anxious for tomorrow.
