75 Years Ago Today - Eileen's Diary - June 10, 1939

75 Years Ago Today
Eileen's Diary
June 10, 1939

This entry is a post from the diary of my mother, twenty year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date. She kept a diary from 1932 as a freshman in high school until she left us, too early, in 1999.

Here is the daily entry for Saturday, June 10:

Pete went over to plow. Rained so he came home at 10:00. I made choc. cake, cleaned the house. Pete cleaned out brooder house after dinner & then went over & plowed. Chored, ate, took baths & went in to town. Got new radio batteries. Home at 12:00.

My comments:

Note the "Got new radio batteries." We've had comments on Facebook about this earlier.

Glad he got some more plowing done. Much more "fun" than cleaning out the brooder house!

I'll focus on the chocolate cake, OK??
