75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - July 26, 1937

75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - July 26, 1937

This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.

Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.

Here is the short entry for Monday, July 26:

Nice day. Making bills. Nite off at 6:00. Stayed home at nite & went to bed early. Dad at School Board.

Here is the long entry for Monday, July 26:

Nice day again. To work at 8:00. Still writing out the bills. Home to dinner. Didn't get off at nite 'till after 6:00. "Simon Legree", "Papa." We really talk about Mr. Charles. Stayed home at nite & went to bed early. Dad to School Board.

My comments: Office talk! Don't really mean it, of course. Happy to have the work, really!  ;-)
