From March 1 thru April 29, I posted every day, to cover the marriage and the early married life of Pete and Eileen (Kinnick) Smith, but decided to 'take a breather.' Resuming with Dec 1, 1938...
Here is the daily entry for Thursday, Dec 15:
Didn't feel good all day. Pete cut wood & I helped him saw it up. Called Mom at evening and told her about the party last nite. At nite did the chores up early and went to bed.
My comments: Good of her to help with wood, when she didn't feel good!
