Here is the short entry for Saturday, May 15:
Raining. Mr. B. & Dad to Carroll again. Home to dinner & then drove out to Pete's. No one there. With Helen B. to library & then home. Bussy's side bothering. Did dishes & went to bed. "Sept In the Rain" was first.
Here is the long entry for Saturday, May 15:
Not so cold, but rainy. Mom let me sleep till 7:00. Got breakfast, did the separator & came to work. Mr. B. & Dad at Carroll again. Home to dinner & then drove out to Pete's. No one there. Read most of the afternoon. With Helen B. - to library & then home. Bussy's side bothered him. He & Leo to town. I did dishes & went to bed "Sept in the Rain."
