75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - March 28, 1937

 75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - March 28, 1937

This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.

Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.

Here is the short entry for Sunday, March 28:

Not a very pretty Easter. Went in to Church. Everyone there. Over to Lund's in pm. Rogers new Chrysler. Pete & I to "Charge of the Light Brigade." Good show. "Just love to touch you - hold you" - - "Little Devil."

Here is the long entry for Sunday, March 28:

Not a very pretty Easter. Not too cold though. Did separator & straightened up the house. Went into town with Dad to church. Saw Helen, Beth, Fat, Harold. Everyone was there. I had to sit in the League room. Home alone for dinner. Went over to Lund's in pm. Rode in Roger's new Chrysler. Harold, Lenore & YIppy came after Edith. I went home about 6:00. Cleaned up & Pete came about 8:00. "Charge of the Light Brigade." Good show. 4 mile drive. Just love to touch you, hold you. Little devil.

My comments: An interesting way to spend an Easter Sunday. Some insight into their family life, is seems.
