75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - September 11, 1937

75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - September 11, 1937

This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.

Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.

Here is the short entry for Saturday, September 11:

Totalling. Home to supper. In to town. With Pete. To Artesian Well.

Here is the long entry for Saturday, September 11:

Doing totals on adding machine most of day. Went home for supper. Came back in. With Pete. Out at Artesian Well & all north of town. Came in and did shopping & went home early.

My comments: Does anyone know for sure what location she refers to a "Artesian Well?" I sounds like that was a well known place. She has mentioned in earlier posts, as well. Thanks for any comment!
