75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - September 1, 1937

 75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - September 1, 1937

This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.

Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.

Here is the short entry for Wednesday, September 1:

Pet didn't know where to find me. Sat on Main St. Emery's garage burned & H. Teter accident.
[added below: Howard Teter. Mrs. 'Youngs' Dad (Bill Young)]

Here is the long entry for Wednesday, September 1:

Forgot to tell Pete I was staying here & he didn't know where to go. Says I never tell him anything. Sat across from Lunds 'till 9:30 & then went riding. Emery's garage burned & Howard Teter ran in the ditch. Really some excitement.

My comments: Wonder if these 'excitements' will make the Enterprise this week in 75 Years Ago column…  ;-)
