75 Years Ago Today - Eileen's Diary - September 22, 1939

75 Years Ago Today
Eileen's Diary
September 22, 1939

This entry is a post from the diary of my mother, twenty year old Eileen KINNICK SMITH, 75 Years Ago this date. She kept a diary from 1932 as a freshman in high school until she left us, too early, in 1999.

Here is the daily entry for Friday, September 22:

Pete took me in to wash. Car broke so I came out & pulled him in. Took folks car home. Bud, Fat & Pete haying in pm. I made a cake and ice cream in pm. Chored & then went to ice cream social at the church. Home at 10:30.

My comments:

I'd like a video of "I came out & pulled him in." ;-)

Two church related activities on consecutive days!! ;-)

Yummy homemade ice cream…  ;-)

Families are Forever!  ;-)
