Here is the daily entry for Wednesday, April 27:
Up at 6:00. Took Pete over to the 80. Went to town after bread and butter. Set out the rest of the strawberries after dinner. Cleaned the house, darned socks. Folks here after cream as we were eating. Did the dishes. Mom played the piano. Rainy out. To bed about 10:00.
My comments: First mention of Dorothy playing the piano!
