75 Years Ago Today
Eileen's Diary
November 1, 1939
This entry is a post from the diary of my mother, twenty year old Eileen KINNICK SMITH, 75 Years Ago this date. She kept a diary from 1932 as a freshman in high school until she left us, too early, in 1999.
Here is the daily entry for Wednesday, November 1:
Did up usual work. Pete was up home. Cleaned up the house. They sent down p. corn ball & p. chops. Had them for supper. Chored. Were going tin to town but didn't. To bed early.
My comments:
Sounds like Dad had a tiring day! ;-) One of many! ;-)
Cooked those pork chops she helped cut up yesterday!!
Families are Forever! ;-)
